I've become an involuntary collector of historic artifacts, both significant and mundane. I'm not complaining. I rather enjoy the strange things that wind up on my desk here at The Democrat from time to time, but they do pile up.
I'm not talking about the occasional old newspaper either. I still receive yellowed and sometimes tattered Daily Democrat newspapers from the 1800s and early 1900s every now and then.
