One of the nicer things about making a drive up into the Capay Valley this time of year is seeing the almond blossoms bloom. Surprisingly -- to me at least -- there weren't as many blossoms opening in the Valley as there have been along County Road 98. The stretch of CR-98 between Davis and Woodland looked absolutely gorgeous on Sunday and will only get prettier.
